Talensi MP Commend Earl International Group Gold Ghana Limited Contributions to Socio-Economic Development of The District

The Member of Parliament for the Talensi Constituency, Hon. Daniel Dung Mahama, paid an official visit to our company premises on Monday, January 27, 2026, as part of his ongoing stakeholder engagement efforts aimed at promoting development within our host communities and the Talensi District.

During the working visit, discussions were held with the Member of Parliament and his team, focusing on key areas including the construction of the Gbane Mine Site-Buug-Sheaga Road, addressing security concerns within the district, and exploring opportunities for dam dredging to enhance farming and create employment opportunities for the youth of Talensi.

Hon. Mahama expressed appreciation for Earl Group’s socioeconomic contributions to the district through job creation and urged for expedited efforts in expanding and reshaping the Gbane Mine Site to Sheaga road to improve safety and security.

The Deputy General Manager of Earl Group, Ebenezer Bognaab, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to enhanced community development initiatives, including the realignment and rehabilitation of the aforementioned road, with works slated to commence in the first quarter of this year.

Furthermore, Mr. Bognaab assured the visiting team of forthcoming job opportunities, citing the impending commencement of mining operations at two new shafts.

On the issue of security, the Deputy General Manager highlighted the adverse impact on workers, noting instances of robbery, and pledged the company’s support for security agencies to address this challenge.
