Sheaga A Real Town FC traveled to face Zuarungu FC in this week’s Division 3 league match at the Zuarungu Senior High School park. Sheaga A Real Town FC started the game strongly, creating decent chances but failing to convert them. Zuarungu FC, the home side, grew into the game and began creating chances, though most went off target, and the first half ended goalless.
The deadlock was broken in the 67th minute when _Essien_ scored a brilliant goal from distance, beating the Zuarungu FC goalkeeper. Zuarungu FC pushed hard for an equalizer in the dying minutes, but Sheaga A Real Town’s solid defense, led by captain Lampard, held firm.
In a post-match interview with Power Sports, Sheaga A Real Town coach Mr. Michael, aka Jah Bless, said the players were hungry to bounce back from their loss to league leaders Black Arrows. He added that the team is motivated to win their last home game against Bolga United and secure their qualification to Division 2.
This win puts Sheaga A Real Town comfortably on top of the league with 15 points.
