The Talensi District Assembly is pleased to inform the good people of Talensi that significant progress has been made towards restoring the Talensi District Hospital ambulance to operational condition.
Recognizing the critical role of emergency healthcare services and the challenges faced by residents due to the prolonged breakdown of the districtβs ambulance, the Hon. District Chief Executive took the initiative to source funding outside the Assemblyβs limited resources for the procurement of a brand-new engine for the ambulance.
Following the successful mobilization of the required funds, the Hon. DCE engaged both the Regional and District Management of the National Ambulance Service and officially communicated the development to them. We are happy to announce that all necessary arrangements have been concluded, and preparations are currently underway for the arrival and installation of the new engine.
This intervention forms part of the Assemblyβs commitment to improving healthcare delivery and ensuring that residents have access to reliable emergency medical transportation when needed.
The Assembly is optimistic that the installation process will be completed soon and that the ambulance will return to active service to support the healthcare needs of our people.
