Favecks Sustainability Solutions commended Earl International Group Gold Limited for its significant contribution to the socio-economic Development

A team from Favecks Sustainability Solutions, a contractor of the Ghana Chamber of Mines, has commended Earl International Group Gold Limited for its significant contribution to the socio-economic development of Ghana following a working visit to the company’s operations.

The delegation, led by Project Lead Madam Charlotte Fafa Tay Senyo, explained that the visit formed part of efforts to better understand the company’s concerns regarding security challenges and the persistent intrusion of illegal miners into its concessions.

Madam Senyo outlined a number of measures being considered to address the situation, including concession protection, encroachment control, artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM) transition, risk reduction, and enhanced stakeholder engagement.

Speaking on behalf of Earl International Group Gold Limited, Vice General Manager Mr. Ebenezer Bognaab identified illegal mining as one of the major challenges affecting the company’s operations and production. He noted that despite several interventions, including engagements with some small-scale miners through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) arrangement, the problem continues to persist.

In response, the Favecks Sustainability Solutions team assured management of its commitment to supporting efforts aimed at addressing the challenge. The team also provided recommendations to strengthen measures being implemented to curb illegal mining activities within the company’s concessions.

The Favecks Sustainability Solutions delegation comprised Madam Charlotte Fafa Tay Senyo (Project Lead), Mr. Kamil Mohammed (Senior Consultant), and Mr. Daniel Ansu (Project Analyst).

Representing Earl International Group Gold Limited were Mr. Ebenezer Bognaab (Vice General Manager), Mr. Albert Sampana (HR Manager), Mr. Caesar Kolog Baduudi (Assistant Public Relations Officer), and Mr. Cletus Adugbire (HR Officer).
